The paperwork

Terms

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms cover this website and the waitlist. They do not cover the NearBuyNow app, which is not available yet and will have its own terms you will be asked to agree to when it is.

Who we are

NearBuyNow Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17475887, registered office 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, United Kingdom, WC1N 3AX.

What this website is

A description of a service that has not launched, and a form to join a waitlist for it. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell anything, and no deal shown on it is a real deal you can claim. The examples are illustrations.

Joining the waitlist

It is free to join. You never pay anything to be on the waiting list.

What we will send you: a text straight away to confirm you are on the list. Then, when NearBuyNow goes live in your area, a text with a link to the app. If you have not joined by then, up to two reminders, each a month apart. We do not send deals by text, and we will not text you about anything else.

What we do not promise: a date. We are rolling out town by town and we cannot say when we will reach yours. We keep your details until we do, and delete them 90 days after the last text we send you. Our privacy page has the detail.

You must be 16 or over and the mobile number must be yours.

You can leave at any time. Reply STOP to any of our texts, or email privacy@nearbuynow.co.uk, and we will delete your details.

If you tell us about your business

We will email you when we reach your area, and call you before we launch there. That is all the form commits either of us to: it is not a contract, it does not reserve anything, and it does not oblige you to list with us or us to list you.

Joining the business waiting list is free. What it costs to post deals will be set out in our business terms, which you will be asked to agree to before you post anything.

What we are responsible for

We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee either. We are not liable for loss caused by the site being unavailable, or by a launch happening later than you hoped.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your legal rights are not affected.

Changes

We may change these terms. If we change what we promise about the waitlist text, we will record the change and the date, and what you were told when you signed up does not change afterwards.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
